    DP mostly gets me but everyone else no. I always felt like the odd one out when I was growing up & to fit in I started to hide the real me so it's a bit of a vicious circle - nobody gets me but they can't because they don't know the real me!

    I understand this and am similar. I now keep people at arms length so they dont get to know me that way I cant get hurt or disappointed but its a vicious cycle that results in me being lonely
