Default Best Concert you have ever been to

So hard to choose. Think the top of my list would be Sting, Prince and INXS.

That said, one of the most joyful concerts I've been to was at the Brisbane riverstage in 1996/97. It was Midnight Oil supported by Skunkhour (alternative Australian band I absolutely loved). The energy of the performers and crowd that night is something I'll never forget.

I still rate the Primus concert at the Hordern Pavilion (I think it was in '96 or '97) as my favourite concert ever. And I've been to a lot of concerts.

Artists I wished I got to see while they were alive are Michael Jackson and George Michael.

Black eyed peas concert in 2009. It was so amazing and energetic. And I tried to sell my ticket on the day because I was hungover and I only went because I couldn't sell it
They were awesome and I didn't even like them that much! It was just after Michael Jackson died and they did a tribute to him which was so good. Can't rate t highly enough.
I would have loved to have seen MJ in concert I think he would have been fantastic.

I'm not sure what I'd consider my best concert. Alice Cooper last year was fantastic (although Motley Crue was headlining and they were awful - I wish I'd been able to see them back when the singer could still sing!). AC/DC in 2010 was awesome. Seeing Ministry at the BDO in 1994/5 and Rammstein in 2010(?) were definitely among them though.

My first concert was INXS in 1988 at the Coogee bay hotel (I was 17!) so that's memorable , Madonna in 1996 was awesome, Barbara Streisand was amazing but my all time favourite is Bruce Springsteen, I've seen him 6 times in the last 30 years with last months concert in Sydney being my absolute all time favourite as not only was he awesome but we took DS who loved it and it was so far the best family night we've ever had!

    I have seen so many.

A few have been favourites for different reasons-
+Motley Crue last year- first concert with H (they were AWFUL but man Alice Cooper was fab!)
+Garth brooks- first ever concert and first time I had 1-1 with my dad (I was only 5 so don't recall much)
    +George Michael- end of HSC!
+ Justin Timberlake- end of uni!
+ Backstreet Boys- end or primary

But my fave of all was definitely George Michael (*violin*). I went with my mum and my, then favourite, aunt (we had a falling out over H). After finally completing my HSC at 3.15 pm, I was on a plane and at the concert for 7pm!
Not only was it the end of schooling (Uni is different to me), but I had been accepted to all the course I applied for, offered scholarships, and was looking forward to a break.
The actual concert was great too- I can't fault George's music though

I'm still getting goosebumps over Alice Cooper, coming out draped in his snake, to sing Welcome to my Nightmare. Awesome!

Silverchair Freak Show when I was 15. The first concert I ever went to and still rates as the best.
