    Default Aarg! Tommee Tippee dummies!

Aarg! Tommee TIppee dummies have changed, and DS doesn't like them anymore!

They used to have air in the part he sucks, the rubber bit, which couldn't be compressed (unless he popped it) - and now, the rubber bit is the same shape, but they're designed so all the air can be pushed out of them, with no resistance! He hates this!

Why??? I know DS is getting a bit old for a dummy - but he sleeps so well, and I'm not ready to mess with it yet!

Has anyone else had this problem with their little one not liking the Tommee Tippee new dummies, and did you find a suitable substitute?

Darn happy baby did that to me!! I tried the tommee tippee new style and no go.
I actually found an older smaller chemist that sells the older style tommee tippee ones. I bought two packs. She bit holes in three of them and I seem to have lost one!
She's 2.5 but still has dummy to sleep. I need to go back to that chemist!
Try some smaller places that don't have a huge stock turnover. These had dust on the packets lol
I sure hope they have some left but I reckon someone else might have discovered it and bought them all!

Sorry no help but my DS likes the cherry shaped dummies and the only ones available anymore seem to be happy baby and tommee tippee - both of which keep changing the dummies! So they are either out of stock everywhere or new ones to get used to.
    Sooooo frustrating!
When DD was using dummies the cherry shape were everywhere, now it's all orthodontic.
What about those hippie latex dummies you can get from the health food shop, they look pretty solid?

I bought some of the natural rubber ones from eBay but these are actually hollow and a lot smaller than the tommee tippee teats.

I don't know what I'm going to do if I can't get a stash of these again.
She seems to be spitting it out more at night so maybe she can wean off sooner than I thought.

    Thank you, ladies.

Does anyone know if the Happy Baby teats are similar to how the Tommee Tippee ones used to be, or are they collapsible too?

I've never seen any ones in health food shops, so I'll have to check these out - thanks!

Oh no! Thanks for testing for me though.

I wonder why they've stopped making them? Were they unsafe? I know the TT ones were recalled for a while, but i think that was because of the size of the plate bit 😔

I am ideally looking for the 12mth + size, but would buy the 6-12mth ones if i saw them.

I didn't even notice the teat lol only the changed shape of the base sucked onto her face and she's never had a dummy like that so didn't like it.
She tried to put the whole thing in her mouth!
If I find any here I'll let you know
Would girl colours be ok if I did? Lol
