    There are so many things I would do (I am doing postgrad study in this field atm). My top 3 would be:
    Provision of potable water in developing countries as far as $1 billion could stretch. This would go so far to prevent avoidable deaths from waterborne disease.
    Free access to HIV antiretroviral medication in all developing countries by doing a deal with the drug manufacturers. A personal cause of mine.
    Massive upscaling of maternal and child health care in the countries with the worst maternal and infant death rates.
    If I had a fourth it would involve improving food security to reduce childhood deaths and disability from malnutrition. Globally 45% of childhood deaths are from malnutrition.
    I need to stop now. I have a friend who works on a Gates foundation project that has huge potential. Great work.
