    Default Ultrasonic vapouriser recommendations

Are there any ultrasonic vapourisers that people use and recommend?

We have a steam vapouriser which is good but we get mould from it. Have done a quick google search and the Aroma Bloom has great reviews - does anyone have one that can give some feedback?

I have one (the dark pinky red one). It doesn't cause mould or any steam build up in the room. The light on it is pretty. I can't say how effective they are in terms of vaporising though - I've never noticed it to make an improvement to my daughter's coughing at night when she has a cold. I haven't used a steam vaporiser though so I can't compare it to that sorry!

I have had both and I LOVE the Aroma Bloom!! No more mould and is so much quieter and doesn't make the rooms all wet...
    You won't regret it!
    I have two

I got this one at Xmas from iherb:

It's only small, but it's fine for use in one room. Works well, easy to use etc. It is a USB one, so we plug it into the wall using an iphone adaptor (you can plug it into a computer also).

I have two aroma blooms, one in each of my DDs rooms. They definitely have their benefits in terms of no heat, no steaming up the windows, don't have to worry about mould.. but they're just not as effective as a steam vaporiser when they've got stuffy noses and can't breathe properly through the night. I'm thinking of getting a steam one to help with the really bad nights in winter, our Taav one died but if I put it on overnight when DD1 had a runny nose, she was fine again in the morning. The ultrasonic doesn't work as well that way.

Thank you for the replies! DS is prone to getting colds and the steam vapouriser really does help when he is all congested and can't breathe properly... Such a shame about the mould.

I was leaning towards the aroma bloom but want to do more research before I decide. We want to get one for DD’s room too.

Just to update, I did get the aroma bloom (close second was the Able Asthma vapouriser).

For anyone interested I got mine from a Healthy Life store. If you sign up in store (free to join) they have a ‘magic monday’ once a month where most things are 20% off
