    Default how do you deal with the bad thoughts

    I am currently waiting on someone from psych triage to call back but wondering what strategies others use (apart from hurting yourself to get rid of the thoughts) in order to lessen intrusive, dark thoughts.

    This is going to sound trivial but have you tried games? Like bejewelled blitz or words with friends or something where you don't have to think?

    stupid cat videos, dog videos, adult coloring and listening to a podcast with headphones, cooking something new with lots of steps to follow, play a comedy or short story podcast with headphones on x
