    Default Baby refusing thawed milk

DS is 4 months, I've been leaving the odd fresh expressed bottle of milk for him and DH has given them with no issues. Last night he went to give him a bottle of thawed milk and DS screamed blue murder! Tried with more thawed milk this morning and flat out refused. We're going to try again tonight with freshly expressed milk, but I've just realised DD refused thawed milk too, we never really tried freshly expressed with her, i thought it was bottles she hated but maybe my milk goes weird in the freezer?
    Anybody had this happen?
I'm a bit worried as I will be returning to work soon I'll be very disappointed to have to send formula to daycare and still express at work!

It might be something to do with lipase. On a quick Google, i came up with this but I'm sure I've read other things that are better. Google around!

I am sure the taste changes. I think some people noted it changes colour.

Why don't you just provide refridgerated expressed milk every day (as in give the milk pumped from the day before).

I'll only be working 2 days a week, probably wed/fri I'll have to do my research on how long fresh milk can be stored in the fridge.

We only sent freshly expressed milk to cc. Can't remember now how long it can be refrigerated - we followed ABA guidelines. 48 or 72 hrs?

Has it been a while since you last had success? Both mine would take or refuse EBM bottles at different ages/stages. No consistency unfortunately. Just incase it's not the thawed milk issue.

He took a fresh bottle last weekend with no issues, MIL is babysitting tonight so she's going to try a fresh bottle at 9pm (we should be on our way home so if he freaks out we won't be far away) we'll see how it goes.
