My dd was 2.6kg and she was in 00000 for about 5 weeks. Target have 00000 and I find their clothes in general to be a small fit plus I find they shrink so they become extra small dd had 3-4 target size 00000 bodysuits plus 3-4 onesies and that's all she wore til the 0000 fit her. Bonds are huge these days size-wise huggies newborn size were fine for us and dd was in them for about 10 weeks.

I didn't realize Target sold premmie clothes, will go & have a look. Thank you :-)

Bottle feeding & dummies in NB size should still be ok? Hoping not to have to use formula but after failing at breastfeeding twice & both those babies not being able to digest the proteins in milk it's highly likely this little one will need specialist formula to.
Newborn dummies are fine. I have a photo of my DD weighing less than 1kg with a newborn size dummy in her mouth.

If bubba is around 2.5kgs, 00000's should be ok, just a bit large at first. I found newborn nappies ginormous on my 2.4kg babies, and for one I went out and got preemie nappies because she was so skinny and everything would leak out the sides constantly - but I found that the preemie nappies are both expensive and difficult to come by. My formula baby had Neocate when she weaned from breastfeeding, & also can't tolerate any milk proteins - this time around (pregnant with an IUGR baby), I've already bought a tin of Novalac Allergy - it is a rice-milk based formula and a total game changer IMO - I'll see how we go! So much better than buying neocate on prescription.

DS was 2.8kg. He was born in July so basically lived in 0000 bonds wondersuits (they were an OK fit). Everything else 0000 swam on him. I bought a couple of 00000 things to have a few cute different outfits.

He's 11 this year. There's so many more 00000 options now (like at target).

I had DS2 last July at 37+2. We where also told he was measuring small but from a 24 wk growth scan I had them every 2 weeks up until 36+5 then my c-sec a few days later. At the last scan they said he was measuring 49cms and 5p8 when he came out he is 51cm and 6p9. So they got it wrong as there is no way he grew that much in a couple days. I had 3 00000 which lasted 10 days then straight to 0000 which he was in for nearly 7 weeks.

I wouldn't buy to much in a 00000 as they grow so fast and you never know bubs may come out bigger then what they think. Fingers X

My little girl was born at 33 weeks in 2013 and I'm currently selling some of her 00000 premie clothes on gumtree? $10 for the whole bundle in postcode 4151 if you want to search.

I was told from many scans in the last few weeks that DD3 was on the 15 percentile for growth so I took in bonds 00000 and 0000. She was 3.8kg or 8 pounds 8 ounces and everything I took was too small so I'd take one bigger jumpsuit as well as the small stuff just in case.

I have another growth scan on Thursday & have put on weight this week for the first time this pregnancy so crossing fingers its all going to bubs.

Pretty sure I've got the percentile wrong so will check that on Thursday.

Since having DD Bonds have changed their Wondersuits. All I've seen is the pretty patterned ones that are made of thin material. Do they still do winter weight ones?

I had to buy a present for a newborn recently and saw some of the old style wondersuits somewhere, but I can't remember exactly what shop. I think it was either Target of David Jones.
