Default WWYD - selling stuff on gumtree - honesty system

I'm selling baby clothes on gumtree, I have a bundle for sale for $15. A lady wants to buy it, I told her I won't be home until 6pm tomorrow. She said she's happy to come after 6pm, or would I be happy to leave it out the front and she can put the money in the letterbox or transfer to my bank account. At the end of the day, it's $15 so I wouldn't be losing out hugely if she ripped me off. But my concern is a) giving someone my address when they know I won't be home all day (I would usually text them at 5:30pm to give my address) and b) if I got her to put the money in my PayPal in advance, she might say "I got there and someone else had taken it". So WWYD?

I would just get her to come after 6. Not worth the hassle.

I always leave stuff out if I'm not going to be home. I've never had anyone do a runner or say the stuff wasn't there.

My street is quite good, though. We leave our kids' bikes, scooters, helmets, boogie boards, etc. all out the front and they've never been stolen.

Well your problem is solved but I wouldn't leave something out and expect them to be honest and pay. They don't call it scumtree for nothing
I also don't disclose anything to people on gumtree about my whereabouts - I don't say I won't be home if they want to come at a time that's inconvenient I just say I'm busy or suggest a different time. I'm not very trusting
Yay for the sale! I've got 3 baby things left for sale on gumtree I hate selling stuff on there.

I do this all the time and haven't had any dramas. I even give them the code for our gate so they can get in. I'm probably too trusting though!! Haven't had any issues...yet. I have two people coming tomorrow to get stuff, I've probably spoken too soon.
I get just annoyed when I'm selling something worth $100 for $10 and people ask me to deliver to their house

Oh, just wanted to add that I do my selling on local buy swap sell, not gumtree so my response was more for that.

I would have agreed to transfer but money would need to be in my account before I left the bag out...
