    Default Single Parent

Tomorrow is Lizzie's first day of school. Is it bad to say that I’m glad? I won’t need to worry about childcare anymore. But I am still worried. That she is missing out. When all the other kids go to school, they will get to say goodbye to two parents. Last night I asked if she wanted a Dad. She said she didn’t need one, not when she has the best mum in the world. She didn’t ask why I started laughing, or notice when I started crying.
