This makes my blood boil. Ohhh so angry. I cannot believe they have left you waiting this long. I would do my best to lodge a formal complaint against this gyno. I hope you are ok!

    Hi everyone,

So guess what? I'm STILL WAITING!

I mean, say what we will about my uterus but it's definitely not a quitter.

After playing phone tag with the gyno for a few weeks and some bouts of pain, each time thinking that it might be the beginning, I've had enough.

Been back to the GP today and she agrees enough is enough and feels the gyno has handled this poorly.

I've had bloods to confirm my HCG levels today and I'm booked in for a ultrasound tomorrow to see where we're at.

From there we try another gyno and push for a D&C.

That's disgusting! You should put in a complaint to the regulatory body about the Gyno. You are at risk of infection. One of my miscarriages stuck around and I had a d&c and I was told one of the risks of waiting is infection. I hope it is over for you soon and big hugs

Yes please put a complaint in. Please. If not for yourself then for others who will see this gyno.

Oh my gosh @Bumblebees I can't believe you are still living this nightmare. I'm so very sorry for what you are going through. I hope you can get into another gyno. Agree with the others, a complaint should be made if or when you are up to it.

Oh my goodness! I have just caught up on this and cannot believe what I am reading! So awful! I really hope you are able to see somebody else and get a D&C asap!

I had a missed miscarraige at 13weeks, bub measured about 10weeks, I found out on a friday and was scheduled for a D&C on the Monday but woke up on the monday morning and Nature had started to take it course so my dr wouldn't do the procedure, told it was better to let it happen naturally, Yeah right!! My miscarraige was incomplete and I continued to bleed constantly for 12 weeks with the doctor constantly telling me 'it's ok, it'll be alright' he sent me for blood tests every few days and even when my HCG was dropping soooo slow he still wouldn't do a D&C! I was livid. If I were you I would find someone else.

Jlem95, thanks for sharing. I'm sorry you also have had a similar story, but glad you've shared as I've not seen anyone else in the same situation.

Im so sorry op 😣 im really confused why the specialist would wait so long. I had a mc at 7weeks and went to ed but i was bleeding very heavy and they preformed a dnc that night. Have you had any new ultrasounds done? The "let nature take its course" theory does not always apply with a mc and sometimes you do require help. Big hugs and i suggest next time you have any pain go to the hospital and im sure they will be more help xx

Got the results from my latest scan and bloods today. Basically I'm exactly the same as I was on my last tests, which were 5th feb. Levels have not come down at all.
GP gave me a referral to another Gyne. The earliest I could get in for the consult was next Thursday so I've got more waiting to do.

My step sister is being induced with her bub today, so happy for her but bracing myself for baby talk. Want to crawl in a hole!
