Yay to last day of work @clucky14 and start of mat leave! You deserve to have some really good rest!

I do miss the social aspect of meeting colleagues and people at work though. 4 hour of sleep isn't all that bad all things considered. I barely get that amount of sleep. If I'm very lucky maybe 3 hours and then another 2 to 3 hours every night. I miss my beauty sleep! Can't wait for Jamie to be able to sleep through the night!
@Maz40, how did you OB visit go? Do you know whether you are having a boy or girl?

Aww Jamie is super cute @VickyP!! What a gorgeous smile!! Bet that makes all those sleepless nights worth it!!

Yeah I'm kinda concerned at Max's weight gain, hope it slows down! Funny huh, if it's not one thing to make us worry, it's something else lol

I seem to be producing a bit more milk now and bf is getting a touch easier but I'm getting mixed signals from Max...probably more that I'm not quite understanding his cues! He's hungry, so on the boob he goes, drinks well for a bit then within a few minutes he's pretty much asleep! I change his nappy, burp him, try to wake him, try the other side and same thing....he drinks for a while then out like a light! He seems content, I can put him to bed and he'll sleep soundly...is it possible he's getting his fill in under 20min??

Hope your last day was good @clucky14! Time to try and relax as much as possible (with a toddler in tow lol )
@ABG79 how are you doing Hun? I hope you're finding your groove, this motherhood gig is tough! We are here for you if ever you need to vent xx
@Maz40 wahooo!! Congratulations! Another girl to join the ranks! Well done, I bet that's a big relief off your mind!!

ALMOST worth it @onedaymaybebaby! But I'd still like my sleep back. Having both would be awesome. Lol.

Don't worry about the weight gain. Jamie put on 400g in 7 days initially too. The PD got anxious that he was drinking too much formula so we watched his intake but I think it was unnecessary. It was as if he was playing catch up being born at 38 weeks and weighing under 3kg. His weight gain slowed down gradually over the weeks and now averages about 200g per week so I think it's normal. Don't worry about it. Weight gain is better than no gain! As for BF, Jamie does that too sometimes. I think as long as he's got 6-7 wet nappies and has good weight gain, then there's nothing to worry about. I always thought that if Jamie was hungry, he'd wake and cry for a feed anyway. Given that Max has got good weight gain, I'd say just go with the flow for now!

@Maz40, congrats! Another princess on the way! Woohoo. Think I'd have gone crazy with clothes shopping if I had a girl! Lol!

Thinking of you @ABG79 and @OneOfTheseDays!

How was Hobart @tjuls? When is your due date again? Sorry I am losing track!

    Hello ladies.
Hobart was good @VickyP. Enjoyed myself, even though I was there for work. Lovely cool change compared to the heat wave that was happening back in Sydney.
You lucky duck @clucky14! Sounds like you have been looking forward to mat leave for some time with the problems you've been having with ur feet.
Time to rest up at home until the baby arrives.
All the cute babies on here are sooo precious! Am loving the smiley pics of Jaime and milk drunkness of Max..Haha

Congratulations on ur baby girl @Maz40!!
Went for my 3D ultrasound 2 weeks ago and the sonographer mentioned that they've been scanning more girls than boys so far. So 2017 must be the yr to have girls then 😄
How r u doing @ABG79? Haven't heard from you in a while hun. Hope Lenny and you are both doing well and you're slowly coming out of the baby blues.
    Am thinking of you all.

Also wanted to share our 3D scan of bub in utero

Oh hello little angel in mummy @tjuls' tummy! Just look at the button nose! How cute. We never got nice 3D scans of Jamie. He was so shy and refused to pose for the sonographer and OB!

Jamie has been sleeping in my carrier alot. It's so hard to get him to nap in his bassinet or on the bed so I have resorted to baby wearing him. He can nap up to 2.5 hours this way! Hope it's ok though. Am a bit worried whether it will affect his spine/back etc though he looks very comfy in there. Thankfully he sleeps in his bassinet at night without much complaints. And I'm also worried that he's not getting enough milk too! Can't wait to do another weigh in to check on him - maybe next week. The worries never end!

Nowadays I really look forward to the mornings - he's happiest and super smiley when he wakes up.

Love the pic @tjuls such a good one! I didn't get too many good pics this time with second bub but that's ok. Oh yes have been looking forward to maternity leave for awhile just a lot more back and leg and feet pain this time round and sciatica issues but it will hopefully all be over with soon. Not much else to report really my last day at work was nice they surprised me with a cute baby cake and lots of presents for the baby and a prenatal massage voucher I felt very spoilt which was nice .

I wouldn't worry too much about wearing Jaime too much @VickyP. It looks like his hip is supported with the carrier and that's the important thing.
Sleep promotes appetite, so the better he sleeps the more he'll eat/ drink. Give it a few more days and see if he will nap in the bassinet. I was worried about that as well with DS but it was only a short term solution. He eventually napped in his cot.. thank God! Haha
That's a lovely gesture from ur work colleagues @clucky14.

I do try to make sure he's in the right M position etc @tjuls so hopefully it's fine. And yes, I have been trying to get him to nap because I have realised that having adequate sleep means he will drink more milk. Otherwise he falls asleep at the boob or bottle.

I'm going to try to enjoy this while it lasts. He won't be little for long and one day he wouldn't want to be carried like that any more. Lol.

How nice of your colleagues @clucky14! I do miss the social aspects of work since its 24 hours me and Mr J these days. My colleagues were nice when my contract ended too but I definitely don't miss the politics. Lol. Hope you get some good well deserved rest now for a bit before bubby makes her grand entrance!

Just wanted to pop in and send my thoughts to you ladies.
@OneOfTheseDays, @onedaymaybebaby and @ABG79, how are you and bubby?
@onedaymaybebaby, have you recovered? Is the pain gone now? How's the cold and rash going? Hope you are on the mend!

Thinking of you @ABG79 and Lenny!

Is Charlotte's poop schedule getting better now @OneOfTheseDays?

We are taking one day at a time. Jamie has been cranky over BF today. Refused the boob no matter how hard I try so I resorted to pumping and I'm so disappointed about how much milk I'm getting despite all the effort. Maybe he's frustrated at not getting enough milk too. Sigh... and it's so warm here it actually makes Sydney's heat feel bearable. 10 more days before we head back!
