Hooray! That's an excellent result! I agree with @blossum74, very positive there is a sac and a fetal pole. Try to relax and just take it one test at a time. You've had a good result, try to hold onto that until the next scan. I'll also be lurking for your next result.

Everything they've seen sounds very positive at the moment so at this point I'd recommend you just try and relax as much as you can (easier said than done, I know!)

The fact that there is a clear yolk sac and possibly a fetal pole means that there is development of some kind trying to happen. It could very well be that it's just too early.

I will be lurking on Monday to see how you go

Hi All! Just thought I would do a quick update for those that are interested! I had my scan today and unfortunately it didn't quite go to plan! Baby is measuring at 6weeks exactly with a heart rate of 95 (should be 6w5d and they like the heart rate to be over 100) at this point it's more waiting for me, have to have another scan in a week to see if baby progresses.

Sorry to hear that shmish! Really hope things turn out. Heart rate can be a bit variable when the heart first starts out so hoping it's just a slow starter. I know the waiting is the worst but they wouldn't make you wait if there was no hope. Take care!

I went for an early scan due to bleeding, I had a sack that was estimated to be 5+4. Went back 7 days later and had a blob measuring 6+1 with its own heart beat. I am 20 weeks today with a very active little man. Good luck!!

Hi Shmish. My story is something positive that u may be able to hold onto. My first scan I was 6w 5d but bubs measured 5w 6 days with a HR of 90. I went back for another scan 8 days later and bubs was measuring 7w 3d with a HR of 153! My dates were still slightly different (7w 6d) but bubs was catching up. Hold on. They are so small at this stage it's hard to get measurements exact. And your bubs heart may have only just started beating so it will be a little lower (that's what I believed with my bub)
