Default wanting to push during period

so I had the implanon taken out a month ago after having it for 5 years to give my body a break for a while. I just had my 1st period. I just finished my 1st proper period since I fell pregnant with my 5 year old daughter. from a few days before I got my period to now, which I finished my period yesterday, I've been having the urge to push like you would during labour. is that normal? I've always had short but intense periods ever since I 1st got them.

I don't know if it's normal but I have had some cramping that felt almost like I wanted to push. Not so much now days but I do get a lot of fullness and pressure sometimes.
I think that is not exactly normal. I have an undiagnosed hormonal imbalance and have always had heavy or irregular periods
