    Default Victorian cursive handwriting

So DS1 is in grade 1 and has just brought last year's handwriting book home. I have come to the conclusion that Victorians are odd. They write all their letters weird and letter 'o' is written anticlockwise. That's just wrong!

I just had to write the letter o a few times. I write it counter clockwise. I tried to do it the other way and it just felt like my hand had turned to mush!

Schooled in WA and ACT and write it anti clockwise. Dh was only schooled in WA and writes them anti clockwise too. I'll ask ds to write in the morning to see how he does it because now I'm fascinated!
