    Thanks, yes Russian heritage.

    I don't see anything wrong with being called Nick, just probably a bit old fashioned.

    I like the name Nicholas or nick, and I think Nikolai would be fine if you have Russian heritage yourself.

    I like it very much, my cousin is named Nikolai. Not of Russian heritage but his parents just loved the name.

    I love it. I've come across a few Nikolai's . Nicky's a cute nickname too.
