@Wishnhope yes have done 8 now as I can't quite believe it! So scared the line will vanish. I am waiting to hear back from my clinic to see if I can have my BT earlier. I hope so. Is yours today? I will join that group thanks!

Good choice going with Genea - they seem to get the most consistent good reviews.

What's your story? I guess any advice on how to increase chances depends on your circumstances but I guess just generally: taking a pre conception multivitamin, avoiding excessive caffeine / alcohol (though a few is apparently ok), cleaning up diet, getting enough sun as vitamin D has a strong impact on egg quality, avoiding nasties like BPA (so maybe throw out your plastic containers), the list goes on. It definitely can all be very overwhelming. But it's up to you how many lifestyle changes you feel comfortable making - the last thing you want is to be stressed or upset because you feel you have to change your whole life around.
Anyway just my 2 cents. This forum is a fantastic support with so many caring and knowledgable people on here.
Best of luck with your journey hon!
Hi nettz84, thank you for your reply..

    So here is my story..

DH 28yo no problems and Me 28yo PCOS, haven't had a period since finishing the pill around 23yo. TTC About 5yrs. Had a run of bad Drs. 2years ago started clomid & provera as well as metformim daily. Stayed on that for 6mths no ovulation with any dose. Took a break to save money and travel to take a break from it. Went back to old Dr early this year and he wanted to start on clomid again. We were not happy with that. Went and got a second opinion and new Dr works with Genea and reccomded is for IVF which we are so happy about. We will commence first cycle in Late May. I am unsure of how it will all work as I do not have a natural cycle due to lack of period and ovulation. But we meet with the nurse in April to go over our treatment plan.

Thank you for all the advise. I am trying not to get excited but also trying not to worry and stress. The worrying and stressing part is hard for me as I can be a little bit of a control freak 😳

I have wanted to be a mum for as long as I can remember and finding it difficult to stay positive some days. That's why I decided to join the forum to get support from others and motivate me to stay positive. You are all such inspirations ❤️

I am still trying to figure out all the abbreviations and how the site works but give me time and I will get there.

    Thank you for the support

I have just begun my journey as far as IVF goes.

If you would like to read my journey so far it is called "IVF in Perth"

That will give you a rough idea of an IVF cycle, although everyone's journey is different and clinics do things different and doctors use different medications. There are so many factors that go into it you couldn't say exactly how your journey will be.

If this transfer doesn't take we will be going again in May/June so you never know we could be cycle buddies

I'm not the best for advice as I haven't been on here long but I can be here for support x
Hi alittlebitofadiva, thank you for replying.

I read your journey so far on the IVF in Perth. So sorry about how tough you have had it. But wishing you all the best with your transfer. It would be good to have a cycle buddy in May/June but I hope for you that you won't need it ❤️

I wrote a short version of my story so far in a previous reply just now.

I am so nervous, excited and worried about it all at once. I want to speed it up and get to May already. I will continue to follow your journey and here for support.

    Thanks again 😘

    Default Hi everyone

Had egg collection today . 5 eggs collected. Bit sore but pain is controllable with two panadols every 6 hrs. Bit disappointed with number of eggs. Praying this cycle will be the lucky one. Thanks Foodie for well wishes.
