We are back for another ICSI round in March. We were incredibly lucky last time, so I am preparing myself for a tougher journey now.
Our daughter is only 7months, but due to my very low AMH levels (1.8) we do not have the luxury of time...and finances mean donor eggs are not an option.

Last time they extracted 5 eggs, of which 4 fertilised and 2 were put back in. The remaining embies didn't freeze sadly.

I, too, will be cycling in mid-March! My clinic won't let me cycle back to back, so March it is! Roll on March! It's not really that far away, only 2.5 weeks for some and 6 weeks for me! It will go fast!!

I want to be prepared hun cos then if it happens it's a bonus rather than a disappointment if it doesn't happen!! That's my coping mechanism! It works

Welcome hun! Was your AMH a lot higher when you fell pregnant with your little girl? I don't give much credence to AMH levels bcos my friend got pregnant a few times with an AMH < 1, but her issue was problems with progesterone.

What sort of cycle will they put you on this time, the same as last time? If so, what sort of meds and injections have they given you?

I'm hoping for a very positive outcome for you. It's nice to know that you don't have to wait long after your first to cycle again!!

    Hello!!
My AMH hardly changed throughout the whole process, a slight increase but nothing over 3 ever.

We are doing another ICSI cycle, using the same meds as before. I think it's Elonva and Levaris (not sure of the spelling!), I also had to keep taking the progesterone pessaries for the first trimester.

I have heard many people say that low AMH doesn't automatically mean issues with having a baby, but after almost 2yrs of trying we felt IVF was our best option.

When does your next cycle start? X
