OMG! I have recently read about this "mosaic" issue thing in PGD.. This is exactly why I don't want to do it and there are so many women whose PGD normals don't take. That's one of the reasons I'm not interested in PGD. You're not doing PGD again are you?

@warratag any embryo can be a mosaic. We are doing PGS only because we both have an increased risk of chromosomal abnormality. I have to trust the process even though it has failed me once. The chance of it happening are minuscule I just seem to have lucked out

Are you at greater risk of chromosomal abnormality because of your age? Or some other reason? I hope it works for you this time. I'm not lucky ever, so I'll take the risk

@warratag we both have inflammatory markets meaning more risk of abnormalities. I have been luck in the sense I have had 3 BFPs from 4 transfers so fingers crossed this next one works

Scan went well!! Measuring 7+5 so caught up a day from Tuesday's scan. Hb 156 so that's good. DD joined and thought I was getting a pic of my tummy. Still in shock but happy

Finally PUPO again. One good quality emby on board. They were running about an hour late so they were able to watch it a bit longer after the thaw and were very happy with it 🤞

Hi ladies Sorry I havent replied to the mentions but i have just needed a bit of time to wrap my head around everything that has been going on lately.
I started uni last week as well as being in the tww with my little lone ranger so thought id drop in and give an update.
My beta was yesterday (17.02.17) and sadly my first ivf cycle was a BFN we are shattered and absolutely heartbroken. I have made another appt to see Dr Lukic on the 1st of march and we are going to resign contracts and start again and see how this one turns out. Hope everyone else is doing well. Congratulations to those who have gotten BFPs hugs to those that have gotten BFNs and good luck to those who are cycling, transferring, have epu or are in the tww xxxxx

Sorry to hear about the bfn @Newlywed0506. So sad after everything we go through in ivf world.

When my first cycle didn't work myFS said on average it takes 3 ivf attempts for a bfp. For me that was spot on and helped the first two failed cycles. Hopefully your FS is able to learn what worked/didn't work so well and adapt your protocol?
