I got horribly constipated when I was pregnant last year. Metamucil daily works wonders for me

So is anyone else having issues with constipation? I'm really have a bad time and I'm also a bit worried. I am 5dp3dt and struggling to go to the loo. I have been drinking prune juice (yuck), taking axilax, tried microlax and still nothing. I can't take coloxyl as it isby gluten free. Anyone one have any other ideas and does anyone else have this issue. I'm scared as I heard that straining will displace the implanted embryo. Sorry for the weird question
    Happy friyay everyone.
Maybe check with your doctor if you can take lactulose? I had it recently after giving birth and it worked after a few days

    Thanks @warratag

We only put one embryo back so it's unlikely there are twins/triplets. Although slightly higher rates for identical twins with IVF. Twins have been on my mind since before the FET so it will be funny if there were two in there. Second blood test next week might give a better idea.

I replied to you PM :-)

Wishingandhoping77 have you tried Metamucil? I always take a daily glass when on progesterone
Apricot nectar and prune juice are my other go to's
I had a lot of trouble in my first sons pregnancy so it was a couple of glass of prune juice a day and a daily Metamucil

Welcome! I hope that Lone Ranger of yours is your bfp!

I think the earliest you can start poas is from about 8dp2dt onwards!! Good luck and fingers crossed for a bfp and a stress free 9 months!

@Flower78 and @watratag, I did PGS was told 100% of my embryos were normal. Had a biopsy with my D&C only to be told my 'normal' embryo had trisomy 2!

This was caused by the embryo being a mosaic. This is very rare (2% of it testing normal and then 2%chance of it implanting), but just wanted to flag it.

Adamsmumma the earliest I've had positive on hpt was 6dp5dt which would be 9dp2dt and that pregnancy I had really high HCG levels for a single pregnancy. Don't get too caught up with very early tests as it can just mess with your head more. You may be a lucky one as see a result early but most likely to be sure I would say prepare for about 12dpo or 10dp2dt
