@warratag as far as I am aware its to prepare the lining

This was from my clinics website

In a “controlled” FET cycle, Progynova (oestrogen) tablets, or small doses of rFSH (Puragon or Gonal-F) are administered in order to prepare the endometrium for implantation.

Hello I'm feeling ok. I have terrible headaches and some cramping and just so tired all the time. I've not actually been sick yet but there are times when I feel very close.
I had a BT yesterday and my progesterone levels had dropped from 56 to 50 so I've had to start pesseries again, but my hcg was good - 21368.
I'm just constantly waiting for something to go wrong and I know I need to chill. I'm having a scan next Monday so once I have that and I see a heartbeat I think I will stress a little less.

    How you going??

    Default IVF/FET/January/February 2017 #2

Hello, sorry for delay in updating, my phone is dying so I've managed to find a power point to plug in my phone in food court.

So I had 3 x day 3 embryos. 2 were 8 cell with fragmentation on day 3 and 1 was 6 cell on day 3 that didn't have fragmentation.

Today the 2 x 8 cells were still moralas but strangely the 6 cell one was an early blastocyst grade A at 7.30am. When they took it out just as they were going to transfer it at around 11.35am it was a definite blastocyst (at least that's what the nice scientist told me), but I didn't ask for a grade and they showed it to me on the screen but it wasn't big enough and I didn't want to take a photo so I didn't spend the next 5 days on google comparing.
I'm happy I got a transfer, but worried about the fact that it was a slow grower. Fingers crossed for me as this is the furthest I have come and I'm very happy about that!

Thank you so much for your support in the lead up. They said they will check on the morulas this afternoon and if no further growth they will discard them. That's ok with me, no point freezing if they're no good.
