It's only week 2 and I'm already starting to feel like I'm giving DD the same stuff every day!!

Today I gave her some pasta with grated cheese but otherwise it was the same as other days - cucumber& carrot, fruit, sandwich... Boring!

I just made some cheese/bacon/capsicum rolls (using a scroll recipe but I did it as pizza-like discs instead of rolling it). I hope DD likes them!

I've been doing day care lunches for a couple of years and they are nearly the same thing every day.

DS gets tomatoes, cucumber, cheese and yoghurt every single day. I cook scrolls, pea fritters, zucchini slice, meatballs, sauasage rolls etc on weekends, freeze them and just throw in whatever each day. He also has a choice of Fruit.

Although he's only 3-1/2 he hasn't complained once but occasionally he requests a sandwich.

    Today's lunch
Very similar to yesterday and some of the same stuff from last week.
I don't think it matters if you give them the same thing every day - if they like it and eat it, and it's healthy, who cares?
I think we are all doing an amazing job

I keep forgetting to take photos, but here is Monday and Tuesday this week for my year2 and preppie.IMG_1486462348.057432.jpgIMG_1486462361.975126.jpg
I think someone was asking about fitting a sandwich in the planetbox, this is how I do it.
The lunch boxes have come home completely empty, except my year 2 didn't eat his carrots today. My prep girl is usually such a fussy eater, and I thought hardly eats anything, but school seems to have made her super hungry!

This is DD's lunch for kindy tomorrow:
    ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1486465697.170714.jpg
Cheese & Vegemite sandwich with peas
    Coconut flavored yoghurt
    Brown rice crackers

Her school provides fruit/veg as well. She told me what I sent last week (sandwich & veggie sticks) was too much; from a kid who usually tells me she's starving after every meal, so trying to cut it back a bit.

Heres DD for tomorrow. Jam croissant, yoghurt (ish), pretzels, carrot sticks and some poached chicken pieces with sour cream. Plus a few biscuits thrown in. We're struggling at the moment to figure out lunches. Stuff she eats at home she wont eat there. Trying to figure out the right amounts etc. Sooooo frustrating.

Lunch for my two at school tomorrow.
Mr7 has roast chicken with peas and carrot.
Mr5 has a roast chicken and cheese wrap, with a side of peas.

Then they both have watermelon (it's supposed to be 44° so thought it would be a nice treat, a piece of fruit, mandarin for Mr7 and apple for Mr5. Some vege chips and then some pretzels for a treat.

Homemade sausage & veg rolls, homemade banana bread (both still frozen), leftover salad from tonight minus the avocado and dressing, and a pear.
