Do you use a different container for fruit break or does your DS just eat from one compartment?

DD has already lost a lunch box so I'm sticking to the cheapie ones from Woolies for now! I do like that the planet box ones look well insulated/protected though.

Default Show me your lunchbox 2017!!

Yep I use the round stainless steel container that comes with the planetbox for fruit break as they eat it at their desk and I just put it in the front pocket of the insulated bag (or usually just a whole apple)

I feel like I give DD the same stuff every day! She rarely eats recess these days, too busy socializing, so I have reduced what I put in her lunchbox. It's basically a wrap/sandwich/scroll with fruit break and one extra thing in case she eats it like crackers or extra fruit/veg sticks

It's a bit the same here @Cue! But DD doesn't seem to mind. But then I remember back to my childhood lunches and I also had very similar things each day, from memory. I don't recall being at all fussed though, I know I wasn't hungry and really that's all that matters.

Default Show me your lunchbox 2017!!

    IMG_1490567955.620175.jpg

I love these threads. DS 2.5 has just started daycare, they have an 'eco' lunch thing going on.. basically no packaging. I got the yumbox lunchbox a few weeks ago, had my eye on one forever.. it's great, he eats everything I send.

ETA: no daycare today, just a picnic in the park. He has 2 small Quiche Lorraine with spinach, left over broccoli, trail mix (no daycare today - nuts allowed), half a hot cross bun + fruit.
