I am trying to decide what to have for dessert. I'm so indecisive when I have nothing on hand.

Ooh tempting. My folks arrive Friday afternoon so it's not a bad idea Except they reckon this weekend is going to be very wet... might have to play it by ear.

Louise - as painful as it is now & it will be when you have the other knee done, I'm glad you are on the way to hopefully having functional legs again

I am laughing at my toddlers reasons for not wanting his food because they are so maddening.

    Toddler-I want a mandarin.

Me- *peels and segments mandarin and puts it in favourite paw patrol bowl*

    T- are there seeds?

    Me- Ummmm....

    T- I DONT LIIIIIIIIIIIKKKKEEEEE SEEEEEDDDDSSSSS!!!!

Me- sigh *carefully hold each piece up to the light to locate seeds, slice each piece strategically and pop out all the seeds. Hands bowl back to toddler*

    T- seeds?

Me- no, no more seeds, mummy took them out.

T *pulls at the cut in a piece* Its broken, fix it?

Me- it's not broken, mummy cut it to get the seeds out, you can eat it now with no seeds.

T- it's broken. I don't want it. *shoves bowl back at me*
