No need to apoligise! Happy to answer! I have been super lucky the relationship between them all has been great!! My two older boys have been so great with the younger ones! Even more so now as they are getting older! They like picking them up from school and taking them to the movies. I love seeing the interaction between them all!!
I used to get some strange looks when ds3 was a baby and i walked around the shopping centre.. my oldest son would be pushing the pram and they would look at him then look at me as if to say wtf he is too young to be a dad!!
Honestly i do not come across alot of people that have big age gaps like we do.

I am so thankful I had a last minute craving for wings. Was digging through the freezer to grab something for dinner. Grabbed chicken breast out so I could chuck it in the slow cooker, got halfway back to the kitchen and changed my mind. Decided to grab chicken wings out to BBQ up instead.
I forgot about the planned power outage. I was just reminded conveniently by my whole house shutting down. I can't imagine I would have wanted to eat chicken that had been sitting half cooked in the slow cooker for 4 hours during the morning .

I am another one with big age gaps.

    Dd1 is 23yrs
    Ds1 is almost 18
    Dd2 is 16
    Dd3 is 14
    Ds2 is 9
    Ds3 is 5

We also got the looks and the questions about dd1 and ds1 being the parents. I got Nanna a few times. 😢 I am not ready to be grandma yet either.

Funny enough dh mum also had big gaps. Her oldest daughter had a baby just a few seconds months before she had her last babies.

My brother and his eldest daughter also had bubs a week apart.

I am frrrrreeeeee! DH has taken the kids to buy me a birthday present. The real present is to sit on the couch drinking coffee and watch the Blacklist. In the middle of the day!

Trying really hard to get the house clean. We have a rental inspection on Tuesday and I don't want to spend tomorrow cleaning. DH was helping until he hit his head really hard on the corner of the wall to the laundry. He got an instant headache and I wouldn't be surprised if he has a mild concussion because he's been all out of sorts ever since. But unable to clean because DD won't go to sleep for DH, so now stuck on the lounge with her in my arms while DS uses my legs as a jungle gym. I've still got to finish tidying (because DH and DS dump stuff on the tables and leaves it there), clean the bathrooms, vacuum and mop. At least the dusting and majority of the tidying is done, washing is almost done, though have to fold and put away the 3 loads that I already had sitting there.

I am wondering when my kids got so big. They are 5 and 7, and something seems to have happened in the last week and they both just seem to have grown and matured overnight. Even if DD is still having moments of separation anxiety. I just hope she grows out of this soon too.

Wishing all Bub Hub mums a Happy Mother's Day, and wishing I could do something to make it better for those whose day will be less than stellar.
