So posting doesn't automatically subscribe me to it? If that's the case, there is probably heaps I'm missing! I haven't seen anyone say that they actually like the changes, I wonder if there's any chance of reverting back to how it was?

    Nope. You have to subscribe.

I also think it stifles conversation. If someone hasn't subscribed to a thread and then you post in it a few days later it won't move up their participated.

Eg. Today I posted a link in a thread I started a month or so ago so unless someone goes back to look through all their participated threads then they won't see it.

Agreed @BigRedV. I don't tend to look at my participated threads anymore as it's too hard to find anything. But when I do I usually find that there's a thread like this one with another dozen replies in it, that's halfway down my page.

ETA I rely on the latest posts page to keep me up to date, but even that's hit and miss when it won't load more than say the first 20 threads.

Completely and utterly over breastfeeding. Really resenting it now. Dd2 has been given "boob" no less than 7 times this morning in the 2 hours she's been up. And when I say no or to wait she starts screaming. Utterly ridiculous.

This has been ongoing for weeks.

She now begs for it in public and tantrums ensue.

    I have sh1t to do.

I'd just stop now but she has her needles on Monday and I'm on my own this weekend.

Hugs. I get that feeling! Can you start reducing feeds. I gave DS a few days to get used to the idea that he only got his milk before he went to sleep. Then I cut all other feeds by reminding him it was only before sleeps. I've recently told him he only gets milk if he has a sleep. He's still not napping, so he only gets one feed at bed time, and I am slowly cutting that down. We started at 20 minutes, then down to 15. Now at 12.

Feeling guilty telling dd1 I didn't like playing ponies and pretend with her.

We've been up since 5 am and I seriously am not in the mood to play those games (or ever) but dd1 loves it- I tried but honestly it's nails on a blackboard to me with silly voices and chasing around the house.

So I told her adults don't like to play those games and now she looks sad 😭

big hugs lms. i feel the same way about playing with ds. i just find it quite boring. i'm sure i'll be having similar convos with him in years to come

are there any things you do enjoy playing/doing with her? maybe spend 30 mins playing ponies then move onto a less taxing activity?
