    Default I am... #20

Happy to make my first post in a while. I've just briefly caught up on a few threads.

Big hugs to all of those who are sick, have chronic pain, have sick kids and current struggles.

Congratulations JR03 on the birth of your bubby.

Welcome back Atropos, I remember you too. I had a different name back then though.

@babybeeno1 is right I've not been on much as I've been so busy. I started studying again, working 4 days, DD at school, almost ready to build our new house, planning a new business, doing Kayla Itsines 12 week challenge, so yeah pretty busy ATM.

Also DD has been assessed by an OT and it's looking like she has SPD, so that's been a new thing for us I'm trying to get my head around. I'm not really understanding how they can help and then how DD will function after her OT appointments, but I'm hoping it doesn't impact on her too much. I'm very relieved to now know that this is what I've been trying to get to the bottom of with her, there was always just something I couldn't put my finger on.

I am wondering if anyone else's kids have gone crazy with the full moon??

DS1 has been so uncharacteristically out of control the last 2 days. He's never been a tantrum thrower, except for the odd one here & there, we never had the terrible two's, or the threenager thing.

But the last 2 days have been non-stop tantrums, demands, back-chat, attitude and destruction. He kicked the dog!!! He drew on the walls, spat on the floor, flooded the kitchen by overfilling the sink on purpose, did things I asked him not to (while I was telling him not to - looking right at me), destroyed an expensive heirloom toy, the list goes on!

I'm broken! I hope this is just the full moon wreaking havoc or something, because if it's the new normal I'll be running away to join the circus!

Perhaps that is what is making ds crazy. The last two days he has been throwing things and just playing up big time! I thought we were just entering the "traumatic three's" as its his birthday on sunday

Sitting awake waiting to check on dd1.
She has been unwell this past week but nothing serious. She just woke up yelling and making no sense and her temp is 40.3. I've given panadol and stripped her down and waiting to check again.

Adding to my stress is I'm working tomorrow, need to be up at 5am, if I call in sick I'll be crucified and lose hundreds of dollars in holiday pay which I'm relying on.

    Dammit dammit dammit.

Thanks for asking. At work. On like 3 hours sleep 😴

Dd1 came good, panadol dropped it to 40.1 only so gave nurofen as well then slept on the floor next to her bed, she was feverish all night talking in her sleep. Her temp was fine in the morning but she didn't want her chocolate 😱 so must still be sick.

Feel sorry for dh as he's crook too and managing both sick kiddies. Being at work is easier.
