So happy we've hit a new milestone.
Dh put dd2 to bed tonight- with me here. No boobs needed, no tears.
Meant I could spend some much needed time putting dd1 to bed and not feeling like I'm doing all the hard work or rushed for time.
I feel so free

I am surprisingly happy that DS still wants "mummy milk" even after a 4 day hospital stay. I was half hoping that he'd quit. But I guess I like the connection more than I care to admit. For the moment anyway! Let's see what happens when my hormones settle a bit.

Wondering... I bought bacon last Tuesday morning, it's been in the fridge since then (combination of night shift brain and pregnancy brain). Would it be ok to divide up and freeze? It still smells ok..

If it smells fine and isn't slimy, I would. I've used bacon that's 10-14 days old before - smelt ok and we were fine. Just put a note on it so you know to use it quickly once thawed. Bacon lasts a while despite the use by dates. You can tell if it's off by the smell and texture, so I say go for it.

DH threw it out haha. It was a little slimy so I don't feel too bad about it. Plus I bought more today while I was at the shops (that went straight in the freezer) and then DH came home with another half a kg of bacon too lol. Not that I would have minded having 2.5kg of bacon in the freezer but oh well.

Obsessed with watching April the giraffe get ready to give birth. It's a good thing I only discovered her today because it's all I can think about.
