    Default Neighbours having a party

I know it's Australia Day and all but it's gone midnight and I'm exhausted and the neighbours have doof doof music going and are screaming and shouting. All I want to do is sleep! Anyone else dealing with rowdy neighbours?

    Call the police.

Someone in our estate set of fireworks at around bedtime for kids. Lots of angry parents posting in the community group about it.

Too late now, but after 11pm the police can come and ask them to turn the music off or down. I used to have to do it quite a lot in a previous house- I would be calling at 11 on the dot because it would keep my then infant twins awake.

That's pretty inconsiderate on what is actually a work night for a lot of people.

We had one party in our street going when I went to bed at 10:30pm - no music, just lots of loud talkers (the types who hold a party in the garage, so it's in the front yard). I just put earplugs in, and thankfully my DS sleeps through that kind of noise.

Hope you managed to get some sleep OP.

Thanks all, I watched an episode of a tv show on my iPhone and then managed to sleep. Feel exhausted though so not sure how much sleep I actually got in the end!
