Spectra is great, so much better than medela (in my experience) no chance of the milk going back into the machine & getting mouldy... plus the output I got from spectra verses others was so much better!!

This! I love(d) my S1 - having the rechargeable battery was great.

Thanks ladies!! Seems spectra is the front runner here! Will keep an eye out for a sale! I've got a while yet before bubs is due

    Are both the s1 & s2 a double?

The only difference between them is that s1 as a rechargeable battery.

I used a Unimom pump. Closed system and I found it worked really well for me.

From memory it cost $199, shipped from NZ.

I had a Unimom double Allegro for when I was exclusively pumping.
It's rechargeable, so was good for when I was out and didn't have access to a power point.
Closed system and really easy to clean.

I also had a Pigeon manual pump that I kept in my handbag and it was really good. It wasn't a strain on my hand to use and was effective at getting the milk flowing. If I was only pumping once or twice a day, I would have happily used that.

I have a Unimom. Not sure if they are still around?

There were also a few issues years ago when ordering.

I used it quite a bit with DS not so much with DD.

The manual pump attachments are good too. I used to do it manually at work.

I loved it. Closed systems IMO are so much better too.
