Thanks ladies. If I'd had five fertilise I would be so happy! It's just dropping from a higher number that hurt. Here's hoping we get a couple to Day 5.

@Flower78 - It is so upsetting wnen that happens hun our eggs did it once and just disintegrated through the icsi process. You have 5 hun though they can make it although I know the waiting now is the hardest part. Good luck hun x

I have been trying to put things in place over here today whilst in the UK and things are proving difficult. I saw the GP today and he wont approve my intralipids as he has never heard of them and apparently he signs the script and it comes back on him. He also refered me to midwife care for an early scan so I rang them and apparently they wont scan me unless I register to give birth here. Luckily the midwife was so helpful and gave me the number of a private clinic who saw me tonight at last minute. I am only 6 weeks and 3 days so still early days but through an abdominal scan she could only see a sac and yolk sac and put me over 4 weeks I explained the ivf situation and the fact I know dates exactly. She then did the internal scan and managed to see slightly more and a flicker of a heart beat so said all was good, it was such a relief I broke down into tears. In her notes she decided to not write dhe had seen the flicker of heartbeat which means I can go back for another free scan next week. I am happy and relieved. Now just need to sort intralipids somehow which may be a harder process.

@Heyside, what a roller coaster experience there. Hang in there hun, seems you are on the right track.
@Flower78, 5 is still a very good number. Fingers crossed all develop well.
Afm, my ivf changes to IUI cycle is officially finished. Had my AF this morning just before the BT. Back to square one with just two frostie still there.
Will take a break this month and come back again for a stim cycle next month.
I am thinking of doing a long protocol next month hopefully get more eggs. Will talk to FS first.
Sad it's over but glad I am having a break from the injections.
Good luck to everyone who are still in cycles.

I've just come back from my FS and she has booked me in for a lap on Monday. It was a great appointment, I felt listened to and happy to have a plan of action.

IVF over 40's #44
@Heyside, I saw your post this morning and messaged my cousin (who is a gynaecologist in London) Unfortunately I don't know where you are and he was only thinking of the Home Counties. He said Dr Hassan Shehata in Epsom, Surrey would be your go to man for intralipids. Dr Shehata runs a miscarriage clinic but also has a private clinic. Great news on the little flicker.
Hope you can get intralipids sorted. All the best
ETA - I have just message him back to say that if you are in the north, does he know of anyone in Manchester.Last edited by calypso75; 07-04-2017 at 18:08.

IVF over 40's #44
@Heyside - what a relief to see the flicker! But what a drama with those intrallipids! How stressful!
Afm....
I was so absent minded today - I put in TWO tampons. I thought I might've but thought I that was just ridiculous .....until I went to change it and found another string hanging out!that's a first for me!
anyone else have a horror story?
