    Egg Donation in Greece #5
    http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/f...d.php?t=557528
@LillyM here's the Greece thread. I suggest reading from the beginning as all the q's are asked and answered.

It's a pretty active thread too!

    I'm heading over in May.

Wow @gorgeousgeorge you sneaky thing huge congratulations on being PUPO hun and good luck for your tww.

Hey @LillyM sorry to hear you were unsuccessful this cycle and you have had the donor talk. We had that discussion with Warren a few cycles back and its a bit of a reality check isnt it πŸ˜”, I think you have a goid plan there with a few more OE cycles but getting the ball rolling with research. Good luck hun x
@infinity888 - Not sure if my transfer will be Saturday or Monday, we may be pushing it with Monday to be honest as that will be day 7.

Saturday will be day 5 so really transfer should be then but our embies are usually quite slow to grow and we wait until day six (this is what worries me). I had a blood test earlier today to check progesterone so will ring later on this afternoon for results of those plus an embryo update. Our biggest issue is they wont be checked again now until day 5 so we wont know where we stand and we have a long drive to the clinic so might end up making the drive on both Saturday and Monday which will be a little full on, need to get mysrlf emotionally ready for that possibility. Thanks hun hearing stories like yours helps me to stay positive, what made the final difference do you think or was it just luck?

@Heyside not sure if you can now do it but what about embryoscope that allows embryologist to check on them daily without disturbing them. It may also give you an insight into whats happening between day 3 to 5 eg. I saw a sign for it at wazza office not sure if its offered here in Australia? Just another outside the box thought. You might be already doing this.?

Thanks @infinity888, we have used the embryoscope every cycle with Warren and it gives us more info about the embies but its expensive and we only end up with one or two embies anyway so the information isn't usuable as we just put back what we have. So with Warrens advice we decided to save ourself money this cycle so no update until Saturday now for us after todays day 3 update.

Just heard we still have 14 embies going one a little slow but the rest all look ok. Its usually from this stage we lose them so will see what the scientists tell us on Saturday.

    Butting in again. 🏼

Current belly bub was a day 5 transfer. We were in the exact position as you, we always transfer on day 6 however that would have been Sunday. Warren was happy to put the only 2 we had left in on day 5 because by day 7 they can't be used and freezing is always a disaster for us.

We put back an average blast and a morula, we were not expecting a pregnancy but here we are.

Thanks for butting in @mummymaybe I need opinions as feeling very confused, dont think we have had this issue before. We dont usually get blasts until day 6 either, but it was Charlotte that suggested we can wait until Monday being day 7, I suppose it depends on what we have on Saturday. Reasurring to hear your story hun and thanks xxx πŸ’•πŸ’•
