Default Does what you eat during pregnancy affect your mental health? Help me find out!

Hi there, I am a psychologist who specialises in women's mental health and I am looking for women who are between 8 and 15 weeks pregnant to take part in my online study- for my PhD.
For more information please have a look at www.perinatalfoodandmoodstudy.com.au

    Please share widely!
    Thank you

That a healthy diet offers some protection re depression and anxiety, especially for those women who experience stress additional to the 'normal' stress of pregnancy.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I could promote this study? I ideally need about 500 women to take part to make it a good quality study. I am finding it especially hard to get first time pregnant mums on board- where are the first time mums hanging out!?
    THANK YOU! Angie

You are capturing such a small window of participants that I think you may have a tough time. Perhaps you can team with some private OBs who generally see the patients for the first time around 9-11 weeks? What recruitment process do you have ethical approval for ?

yes I know! It is tricky, but yes I have ethics approval to approach obstetricians and am in the process of doing that. I just thought that there might be some ideas on here about where first time mums hang out online especially - as my study is online I am finding that links to my page are working best.
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment- I really appreciate it.

Maybe you could post this in the DIG's once they are created? If it's early in the feed, most people will see it when they first join and catch up with the existing content and plus they will most likely be before your window period!

ETA - I'm not actually sure about whether that's permitted on here, so a moderator from TTC may be able to help you. Give them a PM to find out maybe
