One of my table name labels. Every one is a different colour, but they are all written in the vic trace over font, and the kids can use a whiteboard marker to practice writing their name with correct letter formation. They are attached to the tables with Velcro dots because kids kept stealing by blu-tack last year

My current task- laminating and then cutting brag tags. The pink folder case is over-flowing because I've only just begun. I've run out of laminating sheets already so I will duck out to cheap as chips to grab another couple of packets at lunch. This will be an all weekend job

Wow your classroom is massive! And you have an office? Jealous! It's looking awesome. And how great are Velcro dots?!

I'm on total laminating/cutting strike this year. Paying $50 to a teenager who lives across the road from school is the way forward...

It's a double- we team teach. So technically I only have half of it- my photos show just over half- the word wall goes on both sides. And yes- I have an office, a cave (for stationary resources), a reset room (for children who are highly emotional- I have a few ragers this year) and a back room for very small group work and math resources- the literacy resources are in the other level 2 double class. They have the same set up, just mirrored. My buddy teacher also has a small fenced off sandpit for kids to calm down in, and the "blue area" that you see out of one of my windows is gated and locked, and the only way out is either through another classroom, through past the office (and prin and vp) or through my door that faces the road. The children are forbidden to use that door, but I cannot block it as it is an emergency exit.
It all sounds very cool and extravagant, but we deal daily with massive meltdowns and we need quite a few safe spaces for the kids to reset in, and more than one st a time.

I sooooooooo wish I had of thought of outsourcing my laminating and cutting. I'm 1/10th of the way into my brag tags and I have a sore back!
