I'm not teaching these days, and was never a fulltime classroom teacher, but I'm just poking my nose in to say that I'm lurking and admiring your organisation

I love tpt and use the tes sites as well as a couple of other that I can't think of right now!

I went so overboard buying stationary this year and I don't even know if I'll have an office or desk to store my school stuff in yet!

I'll join in please I'm on Year 1 again this year. My classroom is looking reasonably organised just waiting for my Cat in the Hat borders to arrive. Then just need to rearrange my desks and fix my word wall. I love TPT and there's a couple of FB groups that are giving me great ideas as well (TEN numeracy one and an L3 literacy group).

Hey I am also on year one this year. I am still decorating my classroom, my husband made me a semi circle reading table and I'm using milk crates for flexible seating (still to make) I am ver excited but also a bit nervous first time on class in NSW- I was a QLD classroom teacher and then LST for two years.

I lost three hours of my life last night watching two webinars. One was on a successful return to school sort of thing by Laura Candler and the other was on 'revolutionising' your maths block with open-ended tasks.

They were free, so a bit money-grabby but Laura Candler was interesting and had lots of great suggestions. The maths one made me ragey because she took foreeeeeeever to explain really simple and obvious ideas like she'd invented them, so I didn't feel like paying a billion dollars for her resources.

I sometimes feel like I spend so much time looking for inspiration/resources that I don't spend enough time concentrating on my own style and I keep trying to take on different ideas. So that's my mission for this year - I just wanna be meeeeeeeee!!!!

Ok so I took some pretty pathetic snaps of my room in progress- poor lighting because it's raining, and stuff everywhere because I spread out when I think. I think every table has something on it!

    My word wall:

My cafe display is also visible in that last one
