Thanks ladies. Will have to check these out. Do you mostly buy them online, or is there a good place to shop in person? Aside from Sistema, i haven't seen these brands anywhere.

Default Show me your kid's lunchbox!

Biome in Brisbane city stock the planetbox. Dh uses one for his lunch. My nephew has used his for school for several years now and I have one already for DS2 so he get used to it when he finally takes his own lunch in class 1 (2 years away lol but it's great for when we are out and about).

Edit - yes they are expensive but we've been using them for years and they just keep going and look great.

These are what I use for my kids. They are Sistema brand. Very hardy. Easy to use, my 2yo can open his fine. Big enough to put a piece of fruit in without having to cut it. Plenty of room in the top for a sandwich or some wraps. And comes with the little container.
We use these too. They fit heaps of food in them! They are only $10-15 (can't remember exactly) and woolies often have them on sale for half price.

    Thank you all!

I had a look in Biome, but the stuff they had just looked a bit too small for what we need.

I bought one of those Sistema ones just today!

This is going to probably sound like a dumb question but is the lunchbox only for "lunch"? Or do you put recess in it as well?

ETA: This question is for primary school - not childcare.. sorry I didn't see the original post. DS is starting kindergarten on Thursday and I'm planning his lunch for the 2 days and a bit confused about what he needs to take.

Yes, it's for all food DS will eat at childcare that day ☺
