Well went for my scan today, i have hyperstimulation 😢😢 one over is 2 times the normal size and the other is 3 times. No wonder ive had discomfort.

Im not really sure if they do anything now re this though?? Do any of you ladies know? Ive been discharged from my IVF specialist so at a bit of a loss 😐

On the upside baby was measuring perfectly at 9+2 with a strong heart beat! Bubs did a little wiggle with made me laugh so the tech tapped my belly and it moved again! Feels so surreal

@amywillo86 yay for booking in your 12 week scan! I'll book mine tomorrow at my scan. Is a Case Load Midwife like shared group midwifery? I did that with DD. I had one midwife the whole way through (except my birth...the ONE day she had off!) And we had home visits for two weeks after bubs was born. Is it like that? I loved my midwife at RPA.

Yay for keeping food down @mish239!!!
@Willowglen yes I've been trying to keep my meals healthy and had a few naughty snacks here and there. Never shop hungry and pregnant!! Hope this time round you can feel comfortable with your weight gain.

AFM - sore back is killing me tonight. Looking forward to my scan tomorrow even though I know I'll get terrified just before. Then heading to a fringe show that starts at 8:30pm! How will I stay awake

@MrsBMum2be oh gosh they sound huge! That would be so uncomfortable, I hope you're ok. I've not had it before so don't know what the plan would be, but I think you should speak to someone. Could you call your clinic for advice? Are you seeing an ob or midwife? Do you have a contact person with your care now?

Such a cute pic of bubs! That's lovely it moved for you. It's amazing how much they look like babies now.
    xx

@Wishnhope I wish I'd been paying $70. I've been paying $86. Went to a closer pharmacy as I'd run out and needed asap and they tried to charge me $130!!! I said hell no to that. Where have you been getting them for $70?

@Zimbaby just my local chemist. But they have to order them in so Ill run out before they get the order...
just called another place (suggested by the clinic) and they wanted to charge $110! WTH!
@MrsBMum2be beautiful photo of bub, I overstimmed our fresh cycle and ended up in hospital. The fact you are at 9 weeks I guess there isnt much they can do. Keep up the water and protein. Seemed to help

@Wishnhope that sounds cheap to me, I swear i paid over $100 for mine at the chemist my clinic sent me to, to get all my drugs. I will see if I can find the recipe because I always got lots of drugs together so maybe they were not that much. Are you on oripro?

If you have PHI you may be able to claim back some of the costs of medications. This cycle the clinic switched me to Prometrium which is an oral progesterone. Much easier than pessaries, but not so great trying to time things with morning sickness!

@lotsathoughts thankyou its definitely uncomfortable! I rang to check if i had to do anything and apparently there's nothing they can do it just has to run its course 😟 they said its made worse by hcg but usually they start to resolve once the hcg starts to plateau. It was really quite funny watching bubs wiggle and moving its arms around 😊 i could hardly believe it ha she tapped my belly lightly and it wiggled about again which made hubby laugh. Enjpy your scan today! Hope bubs gives you a wave xx
@Wishnhope oh gosh that sounds awful!! Ill definitely keep up the water!! No wonder I'm so round by night time!
@cozkate thankyou ☺ looks like a baby now!!

Actually feeling quite relieved i got to see baby and that they are still going strong in there!! The wait between scans sucks!
