@ELM13 can I ask how much you paid? We did Verifi and it was $900 in 2013.
It was $445 through Genea (although scan and blood test was done at Sydney Ultrasound for Women) for the Harmony Test and we paid the extra $50 for the 12 week scan blood test so we didn't have to come back again. So $495 total and they deduct it when they give you the results not on the day blood tests are taken.

I've hit the 7w mark today! Still a while to go before I feel like I can relax somewhat, but after the bleeding episode a week ago I'm so thankful that everything still seems to be going well. Having a scan tomorrow afternoon so I've got fingers crossed for some good growth and a healthy heartbeat ☺ Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

I hit the 9 week mark on Friday and it seems I've lost all symptoms of being pregnant! Is this normal? I'm a bit worried. I've had a lot of what I can only describe as pulling pains today.

They say once the placenta starts to take over symptoms fade and thats usually 9-10 weeks. Try not to worry yourself too much if you can but if your really concerned ring your FS or GP

@mish239 it's pretty normal for symptoms to come and go as your hormones fluctuate and your body gets used to being pregnant. The pulling pains could simply be your uterus getting bigger! They say that you generally don't start feeling ligament pain until further along, but I know a lot of women who've experienced it in the early days too. Are you able to ask for an ultrasound just for peace of mind?

I had my 7 week (+3 days) scan today and all is well! It has a heartbeat of 141bpm. It is measuring at 1cm and is in the right spot! She said my uterus has flipped a little bit, which made it a bit difficult to see (I have an retroverted uterus so that's probably why). That might be why I was having those pulling pains. She didn't think it was an issue though. She was super quiet during the first 5 minutes of the ultrasound so I was so worried thinking something must be wrong! I hate when they do that! But all was good
