I heard one about cabbage, its supposed to turn diff colours depending on the sex! Haha

This waking every few hours to pee really sucks! Takes me a good hour at least to get back to sleep...if at all!
9 weeks today and wishing away the next 3 weeks! Super jealous of all of you who can speak publicly of your pregnancies.

Went to my 14 week scan with obs yesterday. He asked me if I wanted to find out the sex! Hardest no I e ever had to say. I was so tempted but we're going to make a bit of a fuss this time and find out with family after the 19 week scan when we fly back to Cape Town for a few weeks. Testing my will power limits for sure!!!

Very restrained of you @Zimbaby! I wanted to rip the results paper out of the doctor's hands I was so impatient lol

I'm wearing a dress to work today I haven't worn in weeks because it's slightly fitted, but now my work knows they won't be thinking it's a fat belly, but a preggo one

Showing some serious restraint indeed @Zimbaby!
Im impatient like you @bubbletrouble Id be finding out at the first possible scan!

We're going ahead with the Generation Testing its a little more expensive $495 but it covers a lot more chromosomal issues and my FS recommended it after our first loss which would not have been picked up with the normal testing.

Worth every cent @Wishnhope How does it differ from the Harmony test?

The basic Generation test is the same test as Harmony for $395 but for the extra $100 they also test
    Trisomy 9 and 16
As well as a whole bunch of others (lots of numbers for chromosomal syndromes affecting mental deficits: di geroge, Angelman, wolfhirschorn, cri-du-chat) and as we have had Turners before they will also test that for us.

    Thanks fir the roll call

Sleeping has been tough for me too. Apart from the pee and the not falling back to sleep my shoulder has been quite painful. It's all relaxed and out of joint. Mornings I wake up achy and not very relaxed. It was a tough weekend as Friday night I couldn't get back to sleep from 3:40am and Sat night DD woke up at 3:30 and had vomited everywhere calling for a complete stopping down and washing of the bed and a middle of the night shower to clean her hair. DH was in Melbourne so I was doing it all which didn't help my shoulder. Anyway, it's Easter this weekend! I'll get to tell my Aubties and Uncles that don't know so that's exciting.

Anybody felt their baby move? Not sure if I've missed a post about it.

    xx
