Wow if you had 12 blasties that's an amazing result. You got a lot of bang for your buck!

Best of luck to you! 12 blasties in the freezer is amazing!

I had 12 eggs, 11 mature and ended up with 6 top grade blasties (we are male factor). I had three chemical pregnancies/early miscarriages though and my second DS was by 5th frozen transfer.

Hope you get it first go but you've got lots of chances in the freezer.

    Hey all!

I am new to this forum. I recently had my very first ever antagonist cycle through Flinder's Fertility here in Australia. I had 11 eggs retrieved yesterday and received a call this morning to say that 8 of those were mature and 4 of them have fertilised. There is 1 that they are unsure of whether it has fertilised or not, if i havent heard from them by the end of today then its just the 4. I am hoping that our little eggies make it to day 5 on Saturday

How many of you have had this amount of fertilised eggs and atleast had one make it to day 5?

I have been reading and as far as I can tell its a numbers game.

I feel for those without their BFP. Especially one person I have been reading about.

So sorry for the late reply.

Oh wow! What a small world I unfortunately had no luck with my 2 cycles and am currently still awaiting a laparoscopy and hysteroscopy as back in June I attempted to have the surgeries done and had an allergic reaction to either the anesthetic or something else I was given. Am re booked for the 29th of October so fingers crossed it goes well this time

I hope you are doing well

@mamajess26209 I had the lap and dye done before our successful cycle so hopefully once they can do it for you it will help things a bit!

Yeah it was! Then unfortunately for us we found out I had blocked tubes so had them removed which would have been leaking fluid which is toxic to the embryos apparently. My recovery was fine, I found that the recovery after the egg pick up was much worse! I was up and about the next day after the lap and dye with only slight discomfort and didn't need the strong pain meds just Panadol! Dr Haines was very confident that after my tubes were checked we would get pregnant, Who is your dr at flinders?
Thank you! I'm due in 5 days now so eagerly awaiting the birth!

Oh wow! I'm kind of hoping they find something just not too serious. That's good to hear my surgery is booked on a Thursday and will ask for Friday off too and then I have the weekend which should be heaps of time to recover I have Dr Kamal, she is fantastic. I did have Dr McEvoy and I wasn't too thrilled with him as he just made a big deal about me being so young (27) and my weight. I've since lost 18kgs and got my bmi down way below 40. Oh that's exciting! Hope you have a good labour (as good as it can be I guess haha). I can't wait to be pregnant again.. feels like forever..
