Default Support out there? ED issues, ttc

Hubby has been declining in sexual desire and physical ability over the past few years, endocrinologist low testosterone, taken off lexapro (anti-depressant), given cialis 5mg, short boost in erections and ejaculation, few months and gone again. Second month ttc, first month managed two successful attempts, one not so (success being 'depositing' sperm). This month, one failed attempt so far.
Cialis nearly didn't even help get erection tonight, and as soon as my body reacts (opens up, lubricates) he can't feel anything and cause is lost.
We've been through a lot and the sex I can live without while we solve this. It was better when we didn't have sex because there was less self esteem hurt on my end and his I imagine too. Plus I'm trying so hard to not get 'excited' to keep things tight, so there's no pleasure happening, no orgasm, just left feeling miserable, like a failure. TMI but even tried the other entry just to let him get there, but still nothing. He is struggling to even 'get one our' himself lately. So while normally we'd ride this out and wait to see endocrinologist in march, ttc has been seeing us working at it as best we can. The stress it causes doesn't help the next try.

Has anyone else been through this? Any advice? Any advice on how not to feel like a complete unsexy failure?

Edit: hubby is about to turn 32, I'm 26. We conceived first month ttc with our son, now 4.5yrs old

@EmeraldOwl just came across this post and would love an update on how you guys are going.

I'm trying not to let my partners ED become a big issue but I think it is more of an issue than we will admit.

We tried for about an hour tonight with no luck.... We can get it up with foreplay but as soon as it is time for him to go inside it goes completely soft.

My emotions feel the same as your post.

I'm trying to read more about it and some articles say there is no link between ED and fertility/sperm quality. But then if he can't even get it up to get sperm out then it won't work anyway will it!

I was hoping it could be as easy as a quick fix like viagra but I have no idea how that all works and if it effects sperm quality?

I think we will look at seeing the doctor in the next couple of weeks. What does the cialis do?

Just popping in to say I've seen a lot of ladies discuss this on Reddit on the tryingforababy board and some of them have implemented and been successful in getting their partners to privately make a deposit and use a needleless syringe instead of intercourse. Some of the couples have found it takes a lot of stress and pressure out of the situation as their relationships were suffering. Of course, it depends on how your husbands feel! Hubby and I don't have this issue so I can't give advice on a personal level but I thought I'd pass the info on in case it's helpful.

Thanks @Kaya willing to try anything at this point. Sounds so sterile and non romantic but the "sex" we are attempting to have is definately not romantic right now anyway and I fear it could eventually drive a wedge between us.
I would love to know the success rate of that method, worth a shot we might try and give it a go. Thank you for your support xox

I've spent the last hour reading more into it, suddenly remembered we have a supply of needleless syringes in the storage closet (due to partners job) and have everything we need to give it a good crack this cycle! What a funny and random journey this is!

Good luck! It must be frustrating for both of you but hopefully it's something you can work through together.

@wheelsy your announcement made me so happy! I'm thrilled for you, especially if my suggestion had even a small part in easing the stress of TTC. Congratulations hun!
