    Default Travel System

Hi. I am having a hard time finding a pram/capsule travel system. I used one with dd but sold it when she outgrew it. I am expecting in May and would like to use one again. But now I can't seem to find any in the major stores. Are they not sold anymore or only in baby stores? Any help would be great. Thanks

We chose the Steelcraft Strider Compact. Can click the capsule on to the pram plus have the option for a second seat underneath for toddler if you want. Is that the sort of thing you're looking for? I know there are others but I don't know much about them. I think iCandy has one too?

ETA We only looked in baby stores as figured the staff there would be most knowledgeable. What "major" stores are you thinking of? Myer? DJs? Target etc?

Thanks guys. Yeah by major stores I was meaning big w, target, Kmart. I'll take a look at the strider compact. So you know if you can click on a toddler standing board instead of a second seat?

The standing board, no idea. They didn't say anything to us about that at the shop when we bought it, just that you have the option of a second seat.

I haven't seen a lot at all in Kmart in regards to "big" baby items. Target and Big W had some, but they were limited. I doubt they'd have your big brand items though. Big W seemed to have the most variety though from memory (although still limited).

I'm not sure if you can buy travel systems from Big W etc, but I had a Baby Jogger City Select with the capsule and then the two seats plus the travel board and it was brilliant! Bought mine online.

Baby Jogger City Select is fantastic, but not sold in department stores, only baby stores and online. It can be used in so many combinations involving 1 or 2 seats, bassinet, capsule and/or standing board attachment.

Check out your local Baby Bunting, Bubs Baby Shop or Toys R Us. They usually have heaps of prams to compare.

Thanks. I live remotely so am not close to any of those stores. But I'm sure they all have websites

They do, and I bought mine online after recommendations from friends and family. Personally, I had seen and used a Strider Compact and not liked it, so went with the BJCS. It's always good to try if you can, but online reviews and speaking to friends and family can help too. Good luck!

I have a steelcraft agile which is great. I got it from baby kingdom but I'm sure it's available other places. I haven't seen any in department stores, but perhaps check out some of the baby stores online.
