The only circus i will take my children to is Cirque du Soleil. Many friends and family have wanted to take dd to the circus when it comes to town but I always say no.
I have mixed feelings on zoo's and would never go to seaworld in america.

I would never take my daughter to a circus with animals or marine park unless the marine park was a sea sanctuary used for rehab and release. SeaWorld and Sea World disgust me as does the dolphin park at Coffs Harbour. No dolphin or whale is happy spending their life in a bath tub.

I am often shocked at how many good people still buy a ticket to Sea World and don't realize what they are doing.

I really hope the Orcas in America can be released to sanctuaries and I hope that the survivors who were taken from the wild can be reunited with their families one day.

As for the elephants, lions, bears etc, if they have been saved from years entertainment industry then they should be retired to sanctuaries if they cannot be returned to the wild (e.g. If the wild no longer exists).

I never liked going tot he circus as a child.
As an adult I wouldn't ever bring my kids.
It's a very outdated form of entertainment and my only surprise is that it's taken this long for it to go.
