I have read a couple of amazing articles (I'll try find them).

The one that stuck with me the most basically said:

Democracy means we have to "accept" that he is now president, but it also means that we don't have to accept what he stands for nor do we have to stand by idly or quietly and let him govern however he sees fit.

American government is meant to govern for the people, so let it be known what you stand for. And work with the next group of politicians (at a local and state level) to ensure they know what that is and will work towards the future you want. Ensure the right people are in the right positions to help fight for the vision while trump is in the Whitehouse and ensure those same people are in the right positions to move to the White House in the next election.

Is there more to this that I'm missing?

    Yes,there was.
MSM aren't reporting it though (last time I looked, might be now) but their local fire department page and college alerts page where the event was held, have notices up.

Normally I would say good luck in finding him in a crowd like that but he has been found and what a filthy pig he is.
I will not post the pictures as I'm sure it would break some rules.

Yeah I'm running around here all manic-like in my tinfoil hat.

Just trying to get ahead of what could happen.
    Foresight.
    Logical thinking.
Kinda what all Hillary voters don't seem to have a lot of if they're accepting violence and destruction on the streets without thinking about where it could end up.

Buuuuuuut, that's what, 4 years away? How many people from minority groups are going to be killed in that time simply for being black, LGBTI, women, Mexican? What about all the people who will die not having access to relevant health care? What kind of wars is this going to start in that time!? How many women who are victims of rape or incest have been forced to keep the baby because they can no longer access abortions......?

May sound 'logical' but these possibilities are so real for Americans, it's highly offensive that people all the way over here in Australia to just say 'move on'.

    That was yesterday.
Today there are lots of good news stories about the Women's march.

Of course people should be doing what they can to try stop the damage before it happens and they should be doing it now.
That what I mean with saying the don't have to accept his values right now and making sure they are heard by the right people right now. This also then includes the planning for next time. I

I'm sorry if it sounded like the change can only happen after the next election. That was not the intention of the statement (which is why it said they don't have to stand by and let him govern the way he wants now)
