Default Parking in cul de sac. What are the rules?

We live at the end of a cul de sac. Kids used to be able to ride bikes/ scooters etc but now there are so many cars parked at the end in the curve that it's hard to even access our drive way. 1 day someone actually parked across ours and I couldn't get in. Luckily there was a space on the street but I just wonder what the actual rules are? I can't find anything online. DP is more skilled at parking and can manoeuvre around the cars but I'd really be stuck

I don't know the rules - but logically it's a no-no because trucks and fire engines etc can't turn around.

I would suspect it is the same as any other road. Don't park across a driveway (report it to the council of someone does it) and not on any yellow lines or no standing signs.

Otherwise anyone is free to park there as far as I know.

I thought the rules were you can't park in a cul de sac however I must be wrong because we live in one and people park in it in many weird and wonderful ways! Parallel, front to kerb, rear to kerb and in the middle of it so cars drive around it.

http://www.rms.nsw.gov.au/roads/safe...s/parking.html - I think you are NSW OP? Nothing about no parking in cul de sac (I think!). I suggest calling your local council to confirm and discuss people parking across your driveway etc.
