I opted for the cheaper mistral ultimate kitchen machine before deciding if I wanted a thermomix (got it on sale ).
It's just broke so it's decision time.
I didn't really use the cooking function, it was handy but I mainly used it for mixing and milling. I didn't really like the taste of meals cooked in it, but did use occasionally the heating function to cook sauces ( but can do on stove) so what product should I get? Honestly I don't think I would use the Bellini or thermomix enough to justify the cost.
    Would a food processor do?

If you just use it to mill and mix then get a food processor. Would you make any dough? Or smoothies or anything like that?

My Kenwood is awesome, and there are a whole bunch of add ons that you can get. I would use it at least once per day.

I agree with @twinklify if it's just milling and mixing a food processor will do the job except for the dough.

A stand mixer can do dough, and with attachments other things as well - but you will probably get close to the price of a TMX if you buy a good quality stand mixer that has sufficient power to grind (like kitchenaid) anyway.

Have you had a TMX demonstration? I admit I have one and use it daily. The cheaper TMX copies like what you bought can't do what a TMX does. So while you may not have liked the taste of meals cooked in the mistral a TMX is a whole other story IMO. So it may be worth going to or having a demo.

I have a breville kitchen wizz pro and it does everything I need. Chop, grate, blend, whip, mix (veges, dough etc) it is pretty heavy though so either stays on the bench - or in the cupboard and I don't use it as much as I could/should...

I tossed up for ages with the thermomix too and decided I wouldn't use the cooking function. We settled for the nutri ninja IQ. It's amazing, I used it on a daily basis.
