    Default Broken pram

Not sure where to post this, but...
Just got back home after a flight with Jetstar. I checked in our pram and got it back with the handle snapped clean off. I only realised when we got home, so I filled in a complaint form with pics, and apparently someone will get back to me within 15 days .
My question is, what are my chances that they'll refund/replace what they broke? I didn't have travel insurance (1 hour flight), but surely I'd need to be compensated for their stupidity?

    Default Broken pram

Wow! That is a lot of damage. Not sure how u will go but good luck.

I have taken approx 30 flights with my baby jogger city mini I bought second hand it is still going strong.. So one flight and yours should not be broken.

That's pretty crappy. Maybe email them on FB if you have it saying you've filled in the forms etc but you need an answer asap as your child needs a pram and what they are going to do sooner rather then later for compensation.

Definitely message them on FB as pp said.
Do you have travel insurance through your credit card that you bought the tickets with? (this would only be worth pursing if they won't pay out/it is an expensive pram).

At a guess, probably none. Wasn't it Jetstar who broke a muso's guitar and denied all knowledge? I don't think they have a good reputation for dealing with damaged goods.

If it's an expensive pram, check on your home contents insurance, some portable items are covered under it.

    Yeah I don't have much faith that they'll do anything. @JR03 that's a good idea, I didn't even think of that. I'll check x
