i have only ever been in SJOG subi, the mount and SJOG Murdoch.
They were so incredibly disorganized. They double booked the anesthesiologist for my cesarean. I heard him say 'they double booked me again' when he came in - my OB was furious.

I had a horrible midwife, who told me that I spelt my sons name incorrectly (the spelling is actually the most common way), she also told us that we should put our son to sleep on his side not his back?!?!?!?

We really felt that we were just another number in the ward, my DH and I were both so disappointed. My friends who went public had better care than me in relation to helping with colostrum/breast feeding etc. This was my first and he wasn't latching so we had to syringe feed him for a little while, the midwives gave us a syringe told us to we needed to get colostrum out and just left us there. DH and I worked it out eventually but everyone else I know who had to do this had actual help from a midwife getting the colostrum into the syringe - not their husband!!

I did fill out a feedback form re; the above complaints. They finally got around to calling me when my son was three months old.

If I had another child, I would go to Glengarry or Joondalup Private.

My sister has used Dr Love twice and was happy. It's difficult choosing hospitals/doctors as there will be a range of opinions/experiences.

Subiaco is also a good location if you're not from the city...shopping and food places nearby if your hubby needs to buy anything.

My oB was Anna Holmes at St. John of God Murdoch. She is straight talking and her midwife marie is fantastic. Seeing her for my second on the way.

I'd highly recommend Seonaid too. She's a brilliant OB!
