Default Birth at St John of God Subiaco WA

Can any ladies recommend an OB that delivers at SJOG Subiaco?
We are first time parents and live rurally so have to travel the 2hrs to the city and really like the hospital.
    Any other tips or recommendations?

I highly recommend Dr Tsokos. He is in West Perth. You need to book in very early with him though (like the second your pee stick comes up positive!)

I used Catherine Harris - I loved her but hated SJOG Subiaco. I would never go back to that maternity ward.

I moved from Sydney to Perth and went to Sjog sub I without ever having set foot in the place.

Personally I loved it, better care than what I had at any of my Sydney births. Midwives and anaesthetist were excellent.

I used ADam Gubbay who I really liked, again, total stab in the dark and we fluked it. He was great.

I would highly recommend either Chris Gunnell at Murdoch or Seonaid Mulroy at Subiaco. Dr Tsokos will only take very few new patients plus I think Dr Mulroy is better. I also think maternity services are better at Murdoch than Subiaco. They are run completely differently!

Richard Murphy was great - lovely, with an equally lovely receptionist and midwife, and was very professional and skilled with my somewhat tricky first and more routine second births.

    Hi Excited1
Can you please let me know in what way?
I have had previous surgery at both and liked them equally so don't really have a preference at the moment.

We used Dr John Love (his offices are at SJOG Subiaco as well). I thought he was fabulous.
