    Default Nice shake flavours

Since I was sleeved last year it's a struggle to eat a meal sometimes and on those days I have a protein shake in stead but I am having trouble finding ones that taste like what they say they are like chocolate never tastes like chocolate and strawberry is always gag worthy. I have tried a few caramels that have come close though. Anyway my question is does anyone have a shake they recommend? I keep seeing a health mummy shake diet programme pop up on Facebook are their shakes ok and can you just buy the shakes or is it the whole package or nothing? And if that's the case is the food side of the programme family friendly and budget friendly? Or is there another brand or programme you recommend

I can't comment on the flavour of the shakes but you can buy the shakes without signing up to the challenge.
I did buy the vanilla shake previously but I think they have changed since I bought it.

Oh and the recipes are great - pretty family friendly but not always budget friendly - especially not at first when you need to buy quite a few new ingredients.

I don't mind the healthy mummy shakes. I think they're better when you add things to them though!
I don't love the snacks and a lot of the lunches in the challenges but I do like a lot of the dinner meals. There's a Mexican lasagna that's tasty. The one pot spaghetti is good too. A lot of the meals we have are the Asian influenced ones. Mainly because they're quick to prepare which is what I need.
I also found that the dinners are easy to add more flavours to with herbs and spices and don't cost a lot in initial cost. Tonight we had Gong Bao Chicken. I swapped the spinach for broccoli, beans, snow peas and carrots and added a serve of brown rice as I needed more calories.
A lot of the sweet snacks needed me to buy heaps of stuff for the pantry as it was stuff I didn't have.
And I found them often disappointing.
I like some of the breakfasts - especially the different flavoured breakfast muffins.

I've got the healthy mummy shakes in vanilla. Have 1 for breakfast. For more flavour I add blueberries, strawberries or a banana. The tastes isn't to bad. I got them last week on special think it was $87 for 2 delivered

I really liked the chocolate fatblaster shakes (40% off in woolworths atm) actually tastes like chocolate and is a good consistency. The chocolate healthy mummy smoothie was only ok.

I have the healthy mummy one on chocolate. doesn't taste like chocolate and I found it grainy still when blended with milk and fruit. I'm going to try dissolve the powder in hot water first. I have heard the vanilla one is nicer..
